Sides Spread-All Spreader

The Sides Spreader is a rugged, high-performance broadcast spreader designed to mount easily to a 3-point hitch tractor. For optimal performance, Sides recommends using a tractor with a minimum of 45 horsepower.
Built for versatility, the Sides Spreader can handle a variety of materials, including wet agricultural lime, compost, seed, fertilizer, and more.
With an impressive spreading width of 40 to 50 feet, depending on the material being applied, the Sides Spreader helps you cover more ground in less time while maintaining consistent distribution.
The Auger inside the spreader continuously mixes the material during operation, helping prevent bridging and ensuring a smooth, even flow for more accurate application from start to finish.
Same Spreader Different Size Hoppers
The hopper is one of the most important parts of a spreader, as it’s what allows you to load up and mix your materials so you can perform a smooth, even spread across all your land.
When you invest in the Sides Spreader, you’ll be able to choose your hopper from two different options. Although all hoppers do a similar job, some have a more specialized design that predisposes them to certain uses. Each of our hopper models reflects that with different sizes and holding capacities. Still, any one of these powerful spreader hoppers can handle fertilizer, agricultural lime, seeds, compost and any other materials you want to throw its way.
Standard Hopper
The most common choice of hopper is the standard hopper. It’s ideal for most tractor owners and features an extra-wide opening at the top of the body. Those extra inches make it possible for you to use a tractor bucket or skid steer to load up to 1.5 tons of seed, agricultural lime and fertilizer into the spreader.

Narrow Row Hopper
We designed the narrow row hopper with our row crop farmers in mind. This hopper is our midsize option, giving the spreader the ability to carry up to one ton of compost, fertilizer and lime. It’s the perfect design for fitting between rows without damaging any crops.

ELECTRIC ACTUATOR
An electronic actuator can be purchased to control the opening and closing of the gate remotely. This is a perfect addition for using this spreader on tractors with enclosed cabs!
LEFT ATTACHMENT
A guard can be added to the Sides Spreader to accommodate throwing seed only to the left side of the machine. This tool is helpful for more precise applications, like growing turf on a golf course.
BAND SPREADING ATTACHMENT
A band attachment can be added to allow spreading in a band pattern. The band spreader attachment enables you to spread fertilizer in a more directed way than the typical half-circle arc of a broadcast spreader, allowing you to only hit the plants that need fertilized. This is PERFECT for uses on tree farms, vineyards, or any other “row” type crops.
